Ice Pond and Tipis

We spent a lot of time at the ice pond last week breaking it up with hammers, searching for frozen treasures, skating, pretending to be penguins, and sliding ice chunks down the ramps.

The class really wanted to build their own tipis this week. We tied tripods to get them started and they added the branches and made them into their homes for pretend play.

This group is working on writing their next masterpiece - a play inspired by Harry Potter.
