First Week of Class

We had a great first week of class! We really enjoyed exploring the creek, feeding the farm animals, slacklining, woodworking, painting, and mixing in the mud kitchen. One group decided to make a shelter and campfire up in the forest where they roasted fruits from their lunches. During group time we read lots of stories and sang songs like Down By the Bay and the Coyote song. We learned each other’s names and everyone shared their favorite animal.

We found a few Beech tree branches covered with wooly aphids. We call them "fairy bugs."
