Trip to Seven Ridges Eco Farm and Itsy Bitsy Song Lyrics

On Thursday we hiked all the way up the ridge behind Fairywood to Seven Ridges Eco Farm. John let us feed his pigs and chickens and showed us around his gardens, greenhouse, and "hobbit house" made of straw bales and cob. John's mom showed us where to find some 4 leaf clovers and we even saw a huge black rat snake! Thanks to Stefanie and Joshua for joining us.

On Tuesday we had a lot of fun writing our own versions of the song Itsy Bitsy Spider. River started singing his own version and we wrote it down in his journal. Pretty soon everyone else was inspired to get their journal out and make up unique lyrics to the song. Then we sang everyone's version around the fire circle. Here are a few examples:
